The Play 10 series already has two devices. This is the third model they’ve launched with “A” slapped to the moniker. Honor Play 10A, or more specifically, Play 10A 5G, is the first family member to launch with a Dimensity 6300 chip. The rest of them have Helio G81, which also makes this newcomer the fastest one in the series. Anyway, the rest of its specs are pretty much the same as others. Honor Play 10A’s screen is 6.75” with an LCD underneath and an HD+ resolution (720 x 1600 pixels). The refresh rate gets as high as 90Hz. There’s the older Android 15 Magic OS 9 built into its system, but because of its Dimensity 6300, the UI runs buttery smooth on Play 10A. This particular model from the series also brings 6GB RAM with 128GB onboard storage. We are not impressed by the newcomer’s charging speed, though. It’s only 15W. But the Play 10A makes up for it with a 5300mAh battery. Honor says that the standby time of this phone with just 10% charge is 65 hours. The cameras are as simple as they can be: a 13MP Main rear unit and a 5MP selfie snapper. The fingerprint ID is here, as well as Face ID. Honor Play 10A definitely undercuts some of Samsung’s budget phones, the Galaxy A06 and A07. The Honor phone does not support the upper hand 5G band. All of its specs are listed below.
