The all-new Win sequel is not alone, as Honor also seems to be developing a successor to the Power series. Expected to launch soon, the upgraded Honor Power 2's key specifications got revealed today by a credible source. As the name also suggests, the highlight of the Honor's Power 2 continues to be its battery capacity. While a 10,080mAh battery was already rumored earlier, the new reports confirm it to be exactly 10,080mAh. The handset supports 80W wired charging, and reverse, or wireless charging, also seems to be on the cards. The device is fitted with a 16MP front shooter and a 50MP main camera on the back. Although not yet confirmed, this smartphone will most likely run MagicOS 10 on top of the Android 16 OS. Additionally, the Honor Power's 2 is said to come with a Dimensity 8500 chip, basically an Octa Core CPU with built-in Mali-G720 GPU. 12GB RAM is thrown in alongside a 256GB internal storage, which syncs A-ok with the SOC. Featuring a 6.79-inch AMOLED Capacitive display, the Honor Power 2 produces a high-resolution 1200 x 2640 pixels resolution with a smooth refresh rate. The specs on paper do scream for a superior performance within the segment. There is no hint yet for the launch schedule, but Digital Chat Station predicts a release before the Chinese Lunar New Year, around January 2026. Enough time for Samsung and others to shore up their defenses.
