Motorola Moto G77 is a 5G phone with upper-midrange hardware. They slapped a huge 6.78” AMOLED on the front, which peaks at a 120Hz refresh rate and 5000 nits of brightness. And there’s 1.5K resolution here, so it’s pretty sharp. Gorilla Glass 7i on the screen wards off scratches. But it won’t be enough to save it if the phone falls screen-first. They did test it for a military-grade equipment rating. And the Moto G77 got an official IP64 splashproof rating as well. The phone debuted in January this year, so it does have Android 16 out of the box. It will probably get Android 17 down the road via an update. Performance-wise, the Dimensity 6400 SoC does the heavy lifting inside the Moto G77 5G with at least 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The camera setup has one main camera at 108MP (OIS, PDAF). And there’s another 8MP ultrawide sensor right next to it. 32MP camera on the front will shoot selfies. And both sides record 2K video. Yes, the phone does have a microSD card slot for external media. Only a 5200mAh cell lands on the Motorola Moto G77. That’s a mediocre capacity, but it does recharge over a 30W wired input. This newcomer has dual speakers, but sadly it doesn’t have WiFi 6. Samsung Galaxy A36 is the closest thing you’ll see to the Moto G77’s hardware, but the latter is way more affordable.
