Tecno Spark 50 5G is just another sub-entry-tier device that has been outfitted with an out-of-league chip to unlock 5G connectivity. Tecno usually opts for the Dimensity platform on such phones, and we don’t think Spark 50 is any different. We know that the device has at least 4GB of RAM. But it can stretch it to 4GB or even 6GB. It also scales up the storage with those RAM options, from 128GB to 256GB. TUV Rheinland has exposed what battery size the Spark 50 could have. The capacity won’t be the same in all regions. This new Spark 50 will feature two battery sizes, either 5,990 mAh or 6,340 mAh. They are region-specific rated capacity numbers. Tecno will probably round those figures to typical 6,150 mAh and 6,500 mAh batteries. The pattern from previous releases makes it clear that the screen will only be a 720p HD+ LCD, and they could unlock a 120Hz refresh rate on it. Spark 50 has potential fast charging support and a side fingerprint reader. By the way, the older Spark 40 had an infrared remote, so we don’t think Spark 50 is missing out on that feature this year. Samsungreleased a 5G version of its Galaxy A07, and the Spark 50 5G is obviously trying to compete with that device. But the Tecno phone does have a bigger battery to its advantage.
