Xiaomi Poco X8 is new to the family that already had Poco X8 Pro and Pro Max, but it’s not an original device. The phone is expected to be a rebranded Redmi Note 17 Pro. They share the model numbers, which means they may have identical specs as well. So in theory, the Poco X8 should grab a 6.83” OLED display. There’s possibly 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate on it. High PWM dimming and tons of eye protection features are built into it. Poco X8 might even hit 3500nits peak brightness, same as the Redmi Note 17 Pro. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 will keep the screen from damage. They probably used a 9000mAh battery on this newcomer with 67W fast charging. The chip would be pretty mediocre, just like the Redmi Note 17 Pro’s. Poco X8 could use the same Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 at 2.4Ghz. There’s LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. They might change the colors on the Poco X8, but the design template won’t change. IP69K rating is also a possibility, and so is a single 50MP main camera on the back, plus a 2MP depth mapper. The selfie camera will be 8MP. Dual speakers and a screen fingerprint reader are also coming to the Poco X8. The phone easily stacks next to the Samsung Galaxy A27 that recently came out, but Poco X8’s biggest advantage will be its battery size.
