Realme C100 is the next version after the Realme C85. These devices only had a six-month gap between generations, so not a lot has changed. Realme C85 had a raised camera island. But the Realme C100’s lenses are placed directly on the backplate. There’s no RGB Ring LED here. Realme C100 will once again carry the same MediaTek Helio G92 Max SoC at a 2.4GHz boost clock. The company did put a new OS inside it. The phone now has Android 16 with Realme UI 7. But we have to warn you that only 8GB of RAM is installed on the Realme C100. The performance will be slow. And the RAM will barely keep background tasks running. The newcomer’s chassis is 8.63mm thick. It looks like a normal phone. But the design is quite rugged. SGS gave it an MIL-STD-810H certification. Green or Purple are the only color options here. A 50MP main shooter is found on the back next to the decorative lenses. The selfie camera is actually downgraded to 5MP. It’s still a 7,000 mAh phone. Expect 45W fast charging for backup. Realme C100’s fingerprint ID is on the side. The older C85 had an IP69K rating, and there’s no reason to suspect that Reame C100 will be any less durable. The way Realme has priced this device, it must compete with the Samsung Galaxy A27, or at least the A17 5G. But the phone doesn’t have as good a screen or software support.
Samsung still has the upper hand.
