Realme has put a horizontal camera bar on the phone, like Google’s Pixel. And next to the three cameras, they’ve planted a rear selfie mirror. So you can use the nicer back cameras for self-portraits. Some of its expected specs have surfaced as soon as the teaser spree began. The Main camera is 50MP with a 2MP depth mapper on the Realme 16. There’s also an Android 16 (Realme UI 7) on it. A Dimensity 6400 Turbo pulls the load here. Realme 16 (base option) will have 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, by the way. A 7000mAh battery is used here. And this will plug into a 60W fast charger. The safety ratings go all the way up to IP69K here. We hear Realme 16’s display is neither compact nor large. It’s somewhere in the middle at 6.57”. This is an AMOLED device that has a 120Hz refresh rate. It’s FHD+ in resolution. 4500 nits is the maximum local peak brightness Realme 16 will achieve. It’s very common now to see Realme phones with an infrared port. This newcomer has the same feature too. Samsung Galaxy A37 and A57 will have a tough time competing with this new vanilla Realme 16 when it launches.
