Vivo X200T is a superior version of the original X200 (2024). Admittedly, the design looks the same. The same can be said about the camera setup. You will, however, find a bigger battery on it and a faster chip. Even wireless charging has been added to the X200T. That was missing from the original. They’ve put a Dimensity 9400+ chipset on it. That accounts for at least 5% better AnTuTu scores than the X200’s old Dimensity 9400. The battery has gone up from 5,800 mAh to 6,200 mAh on the Vivo X200T. That’s a big jump. They may have kept the same 90W wired charging, but added a 40W wireless charging coil on it. There’s no upgrade on the camera or display, sadly. It’s just the same old 6.67” ZEISS color master AMOLED with 10-bit colors. The refresh rate is 120Hz, and the peak brightness is 5000 nits. The benefit of this newer “Plus” version of the chip is faster UFS 4.1 storage. Plus, they’ve claimed an extra year of OS support. That means the X200T will give you 5 years of OS and 7 years of security updates now. And it all starts with Android 16. There are three 50MP cameras on the back (Main + Ultrawide + Pericope Telephoto). The selfie shooter is 32MP. The way they’ve priced the X200T means it can easily beat the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE or even the vanilla S25, for that matter. Vivo continues to be a thorn in Samsung’s side.
