Vivo Y31d has a 256GB variant in Pakistan, and it’s priced just a notch above Vivo Y31d (128 GB). But, relatively speaking, they are both quite adorable for what they offer. Each version has 8GB of memory. So there’s plenty of room for background apps. The phone obviously has the new Android 16. Origin OS absorbed the FunTouch OS globally. And that’s what you’ll be getting out of the box. The screen left us concerned, though. It’s just an IPS LCD of HD+ resolution. Thick bezels and chin plague the design. That price would’ve easily justified an AMOLED, but we digress. Anyway, Vivo Y31d does have a 120Hz rate and 1,250nits HBM. It’s not the worst kind of LCD. There’s a single rear camera here. A 50MP unit takes photos and videos. The selfie shooter on the screen is 8MP only. Vivo Y31d is all about battery and durability. A 7200mAh BlueVolt battery makes the phone last 2 days per charge. And a 44W Flash Charge brick adds backup. Vivo Y31d is fully waterproof as well. They tested it for IP68 and IP69 ratings, not to forget the SGS 5-star drop safety rating. The CPU performance you get out of Vivo Y31d’s Snapdragon 6S 4G Gen 2 is passable. But the Adreno 610 GPU can barely handle modern games. We put the Vivo Y31d in the same category as the Samsung Galaxy A17, but the Vivo phone obviously charges extra for that 7200mAh battery and rugged design.
