The seemingly never-ending Vivo Y50 series has two new members on the way, and one of them is the Vivo Y50s. The real surprise, however, is that every member in this family has the same model ID. That leads us to believe they have nearly identical specs. As such, Y50s is expected to have a Dimensity 6300. The screen will be a good-sized HD+ 6.7” inch, but just an IPS LCD. At least this panel has a 90Hz refresh rate and 1000 nits brightness for passable readability under the sun. The photography is not the series forte. Vivo Y50s will make use of a 13MP main camera and an 8MP front shooter. You might just get a 5000mAh battery on it. It's really the charging speed upgrade that excites us. Vivo Y50s is supposed to have a 44W charging speed. That's been consistent on most Y50 series phones. It's really just an entry-level phone with 5G, adding uniqueness to its specs. On this otherwise ordinary phone, there’s probably a standard Bluetooth 5.4 and single-band WiFi card. Type C (USB 2.0) port lends it a 44W charging speed. A 3.5mm Audio jack is right next to it. And expect an SD card slot on the SIM tray. All Y50 phones had Android 15, and so does the Vivo Y50s. This phone is probably encroaching on Samsung Galaxy A07’s territory, so the rivalry might heat up when it launches. Note: These are all expected features.
