Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, Redmi Note 9 Pro, and Redmi 9 Get Rs. 1000 Discounts in Pakistan

Xiaomi’s budget Redmi Note 9 and the Redmi 9 series are two of the most value-focused lineups from the Chinese brand this year. And they've been made even more pocket-friendly thanks to new discounts offered nationwide on the Redmi 9, Redmi Note 9, and the Redmi Note 9 Pro.

Redmi 9
The Redmi 9 comes in two editions: 4GB + 64GB and 3GB + 32GB. The 4GB/64GB variant now starts from Rs. 26,500 -- after a discount of Rs. 1000 on the Rs. 27,500 price tag. The base model is now available for Rs. 21,500, marked down from Rs. 20,500.

Let’s start with a feature you’d virtually never find in an ultra-budget smartphone — a 1080P display. Redmi 9’s 6.53” notched screen produces a full HD+ resolution at a comfortable 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
The camera system on Redmi 9 features an 8MP wide-angle camera, next to a 13MP main and a 5MP macro camera. Plus, a 2MP depth sensor for the software-processed bokeh in portraits. MediaTek’s Helio G80 processor and a 5020 mAh battery power the phone — a solid setup for its price.
Redmi Note 9
Xiaomi has knocked Rs. 1000 off its previous Rs. 32,999 price tag and the Redmi Note 9 is now retailing for Rs. 31,999. It features a more powerful Helio G85 and a 5020 mAh battery that charges over 18W. 4GB of memory and 128GB of storage round off this setup.

The Redmi Note 9 display is a Full HD+ 6.53” panel, coated in Gorilla Glass 5, and with a hole-punch cutout in its corner. We have a quad-camera and a fingerprint scanner on the back — housed inside a centered, geometric layout.
It contains a 48MP standard camera with a wide f1.7 aperture and an 8MP wide-angle lens. Plus, a pair of 2MP extra sensors for depth mapping and macro shots. A 13MP camera lives inside the hole-punch.
Redmi Note 9 Pro
The highest-end model in this roundup, the Redmi Note 9 Pro, is built with performance front-and-center. It also gets a Rs. 1000 discount, and will now set you back Rs. 43,999 instead of Rs. 44,999. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 720G is at its heart, hooked up to a 5020 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.

The chipset on Redmi Note 9 Pro has an 8nm fabrication process and a 2.3GHz octa-core processor. Xiaomi paired with a 6GB + 128GB configuration. The vibration motor produces more "realistic" haptic feedback for immersive gaming.
The design is roughly the same but contrary to what you might expect, the display isn’t AMOLED — many Vivo phones in this price range do, for instance. It’s a big 6.67" LCD with an O-hole cutout in the center. The cameras are higher-res too: a 64MP standard, an 8MP 119° wide-angle, a 5MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. The front cam is 16MP.
