Motorola Moto e7 Debuts: 48MP Dual Camera, Helio G25 Chipset, and Bloat-free Android

Motorola refreshed its budget E-series with the Moto e7. It’s a cheaper variant of the Moto E7 Plus that came out in September earlier this year. And it’s designed with a focus on night photography. We’ll take a look at this newest entry-level phone from Motorola.

The Motorola Moto e7 adopts the same design as its ‘Plus’ edition. Moto e7 has a 6.5” IPS LCD display that produces a 720P resolution, filling a 20:9 aspect ratio.
You're looking at a notch on the front and a centered dual-camera array on the back. It has a subtle texture to it. And the coin-shaped Motorola emblem doubles as the fingerprint scanner. You get a 3.5mm headphone jack and an extra button for summoning the Google Assistant on the left. Moto e7 also provides uncertified splash resistance.

The primary 48MP rear camera promises decent low-light photography thanks to the Night Vision mode. It outputs to 12MP photos. Plus, you can take close-up shots with the 2MP dedicated macro sensor. The selfie camera is a mediocre 5MP, however.

The internals powering the phone are as generic as you can get with an entry-level device. MediaTek Helio G25 does the number-crunching on Moto e7. And it’s hooked up to a 4000 mAh battery that lacks any fast charging support. The storage is 32GB — expandable up to 512GB — and the RAM is 2GB. But, the Android10 UI onboard is mostly bloat-free.
Moto e7 comes in Aqua Blue, Mineral Gray, and Satin Coral colors and it will be making its debut in Europe. It’s speculated to start from €110 (~ Rs. 20,800.)
