Nothing Phone (3a) Lite Coming Soon; Storage Options Tipped Ahead of Launch

Today’s leak doesn’t add much to the existing information on Nothing Phone (3a) Lite. But the internet is taking a lot of interest in the news, probably because it’s another report claiming the phone is real. Someone has managed to find the storage details for this device. Here’s what to expect.

Nothing Phone (3a) and (3a) Pro were launched in March this year, and a few months later, we started hearing rumors that a (3a) Lite phone may exist, possibly heading out by the year’s end. This leak, shared by Sudhanshu Ambhore, has again proved that the device is near and Nothing’s already strategizing its release.

About the subject of the leak, the source believes an 8/128GB memory trim may be the only configuration for Phone (3a) Lite. If it sounds a bit outlandish, think of it this way. The vanilla Phone (3a) and (3a) Pro are already sitting in the budget category, so a Lite version will probably end up in the entry-class.

At the bottom of the totem pole, 8/128GB storage is a common sight, although at this moment, we can’t deny the possibility of more options coming down the line. The leak comes from India, so this may be a regional limitation, not a global phenomenon. Let’s wait and see how this pans out.

Sadly, these are the only details the leak had on the Nothing Phone latest model. Again, this information is not a lot to go on, but the launch seems very close. The rumor mill may have already started grinding away to discover the rest of its specifications.

By the way, the word “Lite” in the moniker implies that this model is less powerful than the basic Phone (3a). It would be safe to assume their specs may have some correlation. So, for posterity, we can take a quick peek at the original Nothing Phone (3a).

The vanilla Phone (3a) is a 120Hz 6.77” AMOLED device and kicks off with Android 15 system. The chipset pulling the load is a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 with a 5000mAh battery and 50W charging. There are three cameras (50MP + 50MP + 8MP) on the back and a 32MP selfie up front. Let’s wait and see how far the (3a) Lite strays from these specs. Keep watching the news.
