Oppo A78 4G Authorized by FCC and Bluetooth SIG; Global Launch Inches Near

In continuation of its A-series lineup, the BBK subsidiary recently unveiled the OPPO A78 5G. To no one’s surprise, a similar model awaits launch, bearing the same moniker but different connectivity features. The unreleased phone is dubbed “Oppo A78 4G.” And the so-called successor is imminent for a global release.

Anticipation builds as the newcomer A78 secures various certifications (the most recent being the IMDA certification). The phone now marks its presence on the FCC and Bluetooth SIG certification websites, leaving little to no doubt about its nearing arrival.

Delving into the details of A78 4G, the FCC certification discloses that the device bears Oppo-exclusive ColorOS 13.1, based on the Android 13 operating system. Dimension-wise, it boasts a height of 158.76 mm and a width of 71.04 mm, promising a sleek and compact form factor.

Connectivity options encompass 4G, 3G, dual-band WiFi, and Bluetooth, ensuring seamless connectivity for users. Furthermore, the FCC certification confirms that the new 4G Oppo mobile will house a substantial 5,000mAh battery, akin to its 5G variant.

The Bluetooth SIG listing reveals that the OPPO A78 4G will support Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, enhancing compatibility and providing users with efficient wireless communication. While additional details remain undisclosed on the certification websites, the culmination of different rumors gives us an insight into what we can expect.

Oppo A78 4G will likely share similarities to its 5G counterpart. Meaning; a 6.56-inch LCD HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. A 5,000mAh battery and 33W fast charging. A rear dual-camera setup, led by a 50MP primary sensor and a meager 8MP selfie shooter towards the front.
