Xiaomi's POCO F4 GT Certified Before its Global Debut; Redmi K50 Gaming Edition Rebranded

Redmi K50 Gaming Edition is the latest performance powerhouse after the Redmi Note 11 series global rollout. The K50 is currently a China-exclusive. But Xiaomi is preparing to introduce it to a wider audience. Unsurprisingly, the global variant of the phone will be released under the POCO brand. The upcoming POCO F4 GT has cleared many certifications, hinting at its impending launch.

For our readers out of the loop, POCO’s F-series offers flagship-grade phones. But they’re rarely new phones. More often than not, POCO rebrands Redmi phones with new paint jobs. And the Xiaomi POCO F4 GT is no exception. It has been certified by the FCC, EEC, IMEI, and TUV agencies. You can find the product listings under the model number “21121210G.”

The documentation also contains some specs. The POCO F4 GT rocks a 4560 mAh battery and the latest MIUI 13. And it’s shipped with a power brick, protective case, and a 3.5mm adapter (since the phone lacks a physical audio port.)

The handset is expected to join the Xiaomi price list soon. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 — the latest and greatest chip from Qualcomm — is at the heart of this gaming flagship. An advanced cooling chamber keeps performance from throttling. And shoulder-mounted buttons make the gaming experience more like a handheld console.
