Realme 6 Pro Price Slashed in Pakistan as the Realme 7 Pro Launch Nears

Last week, WhatMobile reported that the Realme 7 Pro is coming to Pakistan in the first week of November. Today, Realme slashed the price of Realme 6 Pro by 10%. While the upcoming Realme 7 series hits the store shelves, let's take a look back at one of Realme's most ambitious designs.

Realme 6 Pro came out in March this year and had been retailing for Rs. 54,999. After a discount of Rs. 5000, the highest-end 8GB+128GB edition is now available for Rs. 49,999.

The Realme 6 Pro has the Snapdragon 720G chip inside (the same as Realme 7 Pro) with its 8nm process and the 2.3GHz octa-core CPU. A 4300 mAh battery powers this setup with up to 30W fast charging support — that promises you a full charge in an hour. The phone boots to the Android10-based realmeUI out of the box (but will be upgradable to Android11 too).

On the front, we have a standard 6.6” IPS LCD display (this season’s Realme 7 Pro features super AMOLED). It produces a full HD+ resolution at a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. A dual hole-punch is cut out in the corner. And there are Dolby-powered stereo speakers for a better audio experience. While the Realme 6 Pro lacks an AMOLED screen, it has Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and the back.

And unlike the plastic panel on Realme 7 Pro, its glass back is made of multiple texture and film layers to give it a gorgeous, timeless finish. The fluid lighting design comes in cherry red and deep blue colors. Arguably more imaginative than the new reflective design language that Realme has adopted.

The two in-display cameras are a 16MP standard camera, plus an 8MP 105° lens for wide-angle selfies. Realme 6 Pro’s quad-cam system has a 64MP standard camera, a 12MP telephoto lens that affords it up to 20x zooming (replaced with a 2MP depth camera in Realme 7 Pro), a 119° wide-angle camera, and a 2MP camera for closeup shots. The image-processing supports Realme’s Super Nightscape 3.0, electronic image stabilization, slo-mo and portrait modes.
