Realme 8 Pro and Realme 8 Launched in Pakistan; Up for Pre-ordering Now with Free Buds Classic

Following a brief pre-launch campaign, the Realme 8 series was released in Pakistan yesterday. The lineup features the Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro. Both are up for pre-order now, and with each pre-registration, Realme is throwing in a pair of Free Buds Q2 worth Rs. 1000.

Realme 8 Pro

Realme 8 Pro has a glossy, frosted finish with ‘Dare to Leap’ branding stamped on its back. It comes in Infinite Blue, Infinite Black, and Illuminating Yellow finishes. Realme has lined it with a fluorescent material that glows in the dark. The build weighs 176g and is only 8.1mm thick.

Four cameras are arranged inside the box-shaped housing, featuring a Samsung-made 108MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a low-res macro sensor, another B&W lens, and a 16MP selfie camera. The main sensor bins pixels into  2.1 μm super-pixels for detailed low light photos, made clearer with the “Nightscape mode”. Realme 8 Pro’s software also supports tilt-shift, starry timelapse, and several portrait modes.

The Snapdragon 720G at Realme 8 Pro’s heart keeps it running smoothly. Visuals are made responsive with the 6.4” AMOLED screen on the front that delivers a full HD resolution at a 180Hz refresh rate. It houses the front camera inside a hole and an optical fingerprint scanner underneath. The audio experience feels more immersive thanks to the Hi-res certified dual speakers.

More new Realme mobiles to arrive soon with new and amazing features. The pro variant runs on a 4500 mAh battery and the Realme UI 2. When you’re low on power, the Realme 8 Pro is charged with the 50W DART charge technology that promises a full charge in just 47 minutes.

Realme 8 Pro is available in a single 8GB+128GB edition, and it’s priced at Rs. 47,999.

Realme 8

The standard Realme 8 has a far more flashy design — iridescent accents, glossy mirror finish in Cyber Silver, and Cyber Black hues. Its display is built on the specifications of the Pro edition (including the on-screen fingerprint reader), as is the featherweight build.

Realme 8 swaps out the 108MP camera for a 64MP sensor, but the photography modes and the selfie features are carried over the Pro. The internal hardware is where the two editions part their ways. The Realme 8 features the Helio G95, a 5000 mAh battery, 4GB/8GB of memory, and a 30W DART charge.

Realme 8 also has five-fold charging protection but takes 65 minutes for a full charge. A single charge can last you 40 days of standby, and you can even turn the phone into a battery bank using the reverse charging feature. Plus, the build includes a copper cooling chamber and a Hi-res sound experience.

The top-end 8GB+128GB starts from Rs. 39,999. Its pre-order window lasts until May 5, following which the Realme 8 series hits the offline market.
