Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G, Note 11S 5G, and Redmi 10 5G Rolled Out in the Global Market

The Redmi Note 11 Pro+, the Redmi Note 11S, and the Redmi 10 5G made their global debuts at a recent launch event. The latest line of Xiaomi’s budget Redmi phones dropped in China this season. But (as always), it was introduced as a China-first exclusive. And it is only now being rolled out to the international market. All three phones run on the previous-gen Android 11.

Redmi 10 5G

The cheapest of this trio is the Redmi 10 5G. It belongs to Xiaomi’s entry-level family. But it’s the first to offer 5G connectivity on a tight budget.

The next-gen networking is provided by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip at the phone’s heart. It’s hooked up to a 5000 mAh battery that charges over 18W (the charger in the box peaks at 22.5W)

The screen is a notched IPS LCD delivering a 1080P resolution and 90Hz AdaptiveSync refresh rate. The plastic casing rocks sharp flat edges and comes in Graphite Gray, Chrome Silver, and Aurora Green colors.

Lastly, the dual camera comprises 50 MP wide and 2MP portrait lenses. The Redmi 10 5G comes in 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB storage variants. It starts at $199 (~ Rs. 36,000.)

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S 5G

Each successive generation of the Redmi Note can feature upwards of a dozen models. And the Note 11 series is no different. The Redmi Note 11S 5G is a rehashed version of the POCO M4 Pro 5G already available in many countries.

It rocks a 6.6” IPS LCD, 1080P resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass 3. The official IP53 rating keeps dust and water out; dual speakers deliver stereo sound, and the side-facing power button doubles as the thumbprint reader.

We find a matrix of 50MP wide, 8MP Ultra-wide, and 2MP macro lenses on the back. And the 13MP front camera rounds off the optics. The Redmi Note 11S 5G is powered by the Dimensity 810, a 5000 mAh battery, and Android 11. 33W charging support quickly replenishes the phone.

It’s available in Midnight Black, Twilight Blue, and Star Blue. The 4GB+64GB base model starts from $249 (~ Rs. 45,000.)

Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G

The Pro+ is the most premium of the three offerings, and Xiaomi has already re-released this phone as Xiaomi 11 HyperCharge in certain countries. The HyperCharge moniker refers to the phone’s bleeding-edge 120W charging support which recharges its 4500 mAh battery to total capacity in just 15 minutes. MediaTek Dimensity 920 handles all number-crunching here.

For the screen, we’re looking at a competitive 6.67” SuperAMOLED panel. It peaks at 1080P resolution, 1200 nits of flagship-grade brightness, and 120Hz refresh rate. The camera matrix on the Pro+ comprises 108MP wide, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP macro lenses.
