Samsung Galaxy A11 gets Unveiled with a Punch-hole & Triple Camera; Expected to Arrive soon in Pakistan

The Korean giant had one of the most affordable A-series phones, Samsung Galaxy A11, scheduled for release in Pakistan last month. But the launch event was pushed back on account of the coronavirus outbreak. Samsung hasn’t shared the revised schedule for Pakistan yet but the handset is now launched in the US along with Other Galaxy A 2020 Series.

Ahead of the official launch, Samsung had already shared the complete specification sheet, and the press renders for the device. To recall, the Samsung Galaxy A11 features a 6.4-inch TFT screen that produces an HD+ resolution and houses a punch-hole cut out in its top-left corner. The side bezels are reasonably slim, but the chin makes a ‘heavier’ impression.

Around the back of the Samsung A11, you get soft edges, a vertically-stacked triple camera, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner in the middle.

As you’d expect from budget-friendly Samsung phones, the rear shell is polycarbonate, as is the chassis, and it comes in Black, White, Blue, and Red colors. The primary camera has a 13MP sensor behind it, coupled with a 5MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP depth-assist module. The front camera features an 8MP lens with an f2.0 aperture.

An unnamed SoC powers the Samsung latest model, which has an octa-core processor baked into it. The CPU is clocked at 1.8GHz and paired with 2GB/3GB RAM options. The internal storage maxes out at 32GB but can be expanded up to 512GB with a microSD card.

The battery is rated 4,000 mAh with support for 15W fast charging. And the hardware is powered by Android 10 with Samsung’s OneUI 2.0 running on top. Priced at $180 in the US, the A11 is expected to carry a much lower price tag in Asian countries. The phone might make its way to Pakistan soon, following its global launch in the US, once the Coronavirus pandemic resolves itself.
