Samsung Galaxy A12s Launch Imminent as Pricing, Storage Options, and Features Leaked Online

The Korean tech giant is soon revisiting the budget Samsung Galaxy A12 with a higher-end edition. Instead of MediaTek silicon, the upcoming Galaxy A12s features an Exynos chip. The A12s has passed through a Bluetooth certification and was listed on the official Samsung Philippines store. A new report now gives us the pricing details.

The leak comes from the Twitter-based phone leaker, Sudhanshu Ambhore. The Samsung Galaxy A12s will be offered in three colors — Black, White, and Blue. You get 4GB of memory and two storage variants. The base 64GB edition starts from €180 (~ Rs. 33,800), and the 128GB version is priced at €200 (~ Rs. 37,600.)

The Galaxy A12s switches out the MediaTek Helio P35 for the Exynos 850, powered by the Android11-based OneUI. Google Play Console also lists the phone with these internal specifications (you can find the documentation under the model number SM-A127F/M.) Since it’s built on the original A12, the ‘s’ edition inherits the rest of its specs.

We could find a 6.5” IPS LCD with a 720P resolution on Samsung's new model for 2021. An 8MP front camera is encased in a notch. The Galaxy A12s would feature a quad-camera, housed inside a matrix. You get 48MP wide, 5MP ultrawide, 2MP depth, and 2MP macro lenses.

It’s all backed by a 5000 mAh battery, capable of fast charging over 15W. Plus, the A12s should rock a side-facing thumbprint scanner, a USB-C port, a dedicated storage expansion slot, and support for NFC. Rumor has it that the Galaxy A12s is slated for launch later this month.
