Samsung Galaxy A24 4G Bags TUV and Bluetooth SIG Certifications; Launch Underway

Last year’s Galaxy A23 had a 4G and a 5G version. The former debuted in March, while the other waited till the end of August to launch. Following its ancestral launch timeline, the Samsung Galaxy A24 4G should break cover soon, and corroborating its imminent launch are the TUV and Bluetooth SIG certifications.

Typical to routine, Bluetooth SIG only emanated the phone’s Bluetooth capabilities. The newcomer has BT version 5.3, a module that sports better range, channel management, encryption key size, and, most importantly, connection reliability — a few notable upgrades over the standard BT modules.

TUV Rheinland’s certification, on the other hand, touted that Galaxy A24 sports up to 25W charging speed. Besides unveiling the Bluetooth and Charging features, both certifiers have kept the details about A24 to themselves. Luckily, the rumor mill has spilled almost everything there is to expect from this device. 

Rumors suggest that the Samsung Galaxy A24 4G will perform amazingly, thanks to MediaTek’s top-of-the-line Helio G99 SoC. The Samsung latest budget mobile will likely sport a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with a Full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2408 pixels) and a 90Hz refresh rate. 

The phone will boot directly to an Android 13-based OS with One UI 5. It will offer 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable via a microSD card. On the rear side, the newcomer flaunts a triple-lens camera setup comprising a 50MP primary unit, a 5MP ultra-wide unit, and a 2MP macro sensor. 

For selfies and video calls, a 13MP camera is likely to reside under a drop-shaped notch on the front side. The device should pack a 5,000mAh battery complemented by a 25W charging speed, as pointed out by the TUV certification.
