Samsung Galaxy A53 Expands September 2024 Security Update to More Regions

Samsung’s Galaxy A53 got the new patch in the USA and Europe just last week, but there was no news about the Asian rollout at the time, so this report is for the remaining markets, and yes, Pakistan is also among them. A security update will reach your Galaxy A53 soon if you have one.

‘A536EXXSBEXI1’ is the version code they use for this new September patch 2024 on the A53, and you will see it too as soon as Changelog prompts itself on your screen asking you to download this update. Here’s a little something about the patch itself.

They say this patch will be crucial, and downloading it can save you from 67 exploitable vulnerabilities of the old software. What you can do to install this update is simply go to Settings >> Software Updates >> Check for Updates >> let it grab the OTA from servers and then tap Download and Install.

Our Pakistani audience has to do the same thing to update their phones, of course only for those folks with Galaxy A53. This Samsung's latest budget phone is two years old, but it’s good that Samsung is still showing A53 love, and it’s just as fresh as it was in 2022, at least software-wise.

A53 is at 120Hz super AMOLED 1080p with Exynos 1280 pushing all its hardware. This one had four cameras on the back in 64MP + 12MP + 5MP + 5MP configuration, and even on the front, they installed a 32MP selfie unit that can do 4K videos. And, this new firmware update will only make things better on your Galaxy A53.
