Samsung Galaxy A54 Spotted on TENAA Verifying 5000mAh Battery and 25W Charging Speed

The flagship S23 lineup by Samsung is out retailing in several markets now, and mid-rangers A34 and A54 are next in line. Both have been doing certification runs lately, hinting at the launch sometime next month. Samsung Galaxy A54 has surfaced on another certifier's website from China. Here's what it entails.

China-based listing TENAA indexed Galaxy A54 in the database under model SM-A5400, affirming the device's imminent arrival in their respective region. The details mentioned in the public document are battery, 5G connectivity, antenna bands, and charging speed.

In the document, the battery capacity reads 4905mAh; Samsung might advertise it as 5000mAh. With that average energizer, A54 brings a 25W plug for fast PD charging. TENAA also affirms a triple camera setup on its back combined with a single selfie unit on the front.

The Samsung new A model holds a 5G-ready chip wired with b41, b78, b79, b78, and b28 antenna bands. These are the only notable details we could scrub off the TENAA files. Limited info aside, from this latest break, we can avow that a launch is just around the corner.

The rumor mill has some more details on A54. According to reports, the newcomer expects Exynos 1380 SoC under the hood, followed by 8Gigs of RAM and a max 256Gigs of storage. In specs, it will also include a 6.4-inch AMOLED panel, punch-holed to house a 32MP selfie unit, added with smooth visuals at 120Hz.

For photography, its triple-lens camera setting might bring a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide, and 8MP auxiliary unit. With renders, we can tell it will boast the same design as its upper-end siblings, S23 and S23+, though with significantly fatter screen bezels. As always, we'd suggest taking these statements lightly; nothing's confirmed until the company has said so.
