Samsung Galaxy S23 FE; Live Photo Surfaces, Charging Speed Raises Concerns

Anticipation reaches its zenith with the impending release of Samsung's Galaxy S23 FE. Revelations from reputable sources suggest that the giant is on the cusp of an "imminent" announcement in South Korea.

The excitement is further stoked by a first-of-its-kind live image that surfaced recently on the Wireless Power Consortium's website. However, as the veil of secrecy slowly lifts, a hint of disappointment accompanies the delightful story. Info on the Consortium’s website reveals a seemingly paltry input of 4.4W for wireless charging on the Galaxy S23 FE.

Compared to the Galaxy S23 Ultra's rapid wireless charging at 15W, this figure raises concerns about prolonged charging times. Given the purported 4500mAh battery capacity, charging the Galaxy S23 FE without wires may entail waiting for a seemingly endless three to four hours.

Nonetheless, the Galaxy S23 FE's rumored specifications continue to impress. Powered by the Exynos 2200 SoC or the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset (depending on the region), Samsung's latest flagship mobile is poised to redefine mobile performance in the mid-range segment.

With a captivating 6.4-inch display, supported by up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, users can expect seamless multitasking and ample room for their digital endeavors.

Imaging prowess remains a cornerstone of Samsung's reputation, and the Galaxy S23 FE looks set to deliver in that area. Anchoring the camera system is a 50MP primary ISOCELL GN3 sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide, and a 3X 8MP telephoto shooter. The front-facing driver will be 12MP.
