Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Spotted Running One UI 9.5 Beta on Internal Test Servers

Most of the eligible Galaxy phones that were meant to receive One UI 9 already have the new firmware. They’ve even begun working on the next big update, which is going to be One UI 9.5. Apparently, a working beta was spotted on Samsung’s test server for the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.

One UI 9.5 beta test build for the Galaxy S26 Ultra is just the first of many steps they need to take before they do an official public release. And that’s going to take a while, of course. At least we have our very first proof that they are working on the update now.

There was a post on X from the handle @Kailash0729. This leaker saw the beta firmware on the internal test servers. The tricode for the S26 Ultra’s beta One UI 9.5 was S948BXXU6ZZK3/S948BOXM6ZZK3/S948BXXU6CZK3. Of course, we’ll never cross paths with it because this is just a test version for their own development team.

Pakistan won’t see the actual One UI 9.5 update until the public beta is tested in other regions and they make an official stable version. That’s not happening anytime soon. So don’t hold your breath, and might as well enjoy the One UI 9 version you just got on the S26 Ultra. By the way, get an overview of Samsung smartphone pricing with the latest Samsung Price List.

They’ve put a new bootloader on the update, apparently. All One UI builds of recent have had the U5 bootloader, which is being promoted to the U6. This is a safety measure of sorts. This could make manual updates a bit more complex, but we digress.

Some reports did say that there wasn’t going to be a beta run for One UI 9.5. The new leak proved the exact opposite. They really are testing a beta version internally. And this means there will be a follow-up with a public One UI 9.5 beta for the S26 Ultra. No one has figured out the exact timeline. But we’ll keep an ear to the ground for a follow-up. Keep watching the news for more updates.
