In a surprising move, Vivo has quietly unleashed a new addition to its Y-series lineup — the mighty Vivo Y27 5G. The device making waves through certifications listings lately, finally debuts on the brand's global website. Let's dive in and explore what the phone truly packs inside.

The Vivo Y27 5G boasts a stunning 6.44-inch display with a sleek waterdrop notch. The panel underneath mesmerizes with FHD+ resolution and a peak brightness of 600 nits. And here's a nifty feature — the handset’s power button doubles as a fingerprint scanner, ensuring convenient and secure unlocking.

Plus, the back panel sports a striking square camera module on top of a rectangular glass island. Inside those immense lenses reside the primary 50MP unit and secondary 2MP bokeh assistant. Accompanying the setup is an 8MP selfie shooter atop the screen.

Underneath the sleek exterior, Vivo Y27 5G packs a punch with a blazing-fast MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor. The latest Vivo 5G mobile is available in 4GB and 6GB RAM options, and it even offers up to 6GB of virtual RAM for enhanced multitasking and seamless app navigation.

With 128GB of onboard storage, users will have ample space for all their favorite apps, games, and media. Powering the cell is a robust 5,000mAh battery that keeps it productive throughout the day. And for a quick recharge, the device sports 15W fast input through type-C.

On the software front, the Y27 5G runs on the Funtouch OS 13, based on the latest Android 13. Additional options on the device include 5G connectivity, a trusty 3.5mm jack, modern WiFi, Bluetooth, and NFC for contactless payments. It offers dual color options: Mystic Black and Satin Purple. As for pricing and availability, Vivo is yet to make an official announcement.
