Vivo Y27s Should be Heading out Soon; Visits Bluetooth SIG for Certification

The company’s highly-awaited Vivo Y27s seems to be on course for launch. We recently spotted the device on the Bluetooth SIG with the model tag V2322. Though the listing mainly confirms Bluetooth 5.0 hub on board, there's a cover of mystery around the phone's specs sheet.

Stepping away from its SIG certification, the Vivo Y27s will soon join the existing Y27 range, recently made official in Malaysia. Rumors suggest that the Y27s may have fewer extravagant features when compared to its predecessor, the vanilla Y27.

Vivo's tech parade will not end there. October 4 marks the anticipated launch of the Vivo V29 and V29 Pro. Speculations are rife about these models boasting up to 12GB RAM, a meaty 4600 mAh battery, and a triplet of rear cameras.

Alongside the meaty bits, the company plans to introduce 80W charging kits with V29 and V29 Pro. Ideally, the 80W fast charging adapter fills out the drained battery in 50 minutes, which could be a game-changer for these latest Vivo budget mobiles.

To assess Vivo Y27s’ capabilities, we need a closer look at the standard Y27. Priced at approximately $155, the Vivo Y27 draws power from the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset with 6GB RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. Expansion via microSD might not be an option, but Vivo compensates with its Extended RAM 3.0 feature.

The Vivo Y27 also dazzles with a 6.64-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD screen, a dual camera setup (50MP Primary and 2MP portrait), and an 8MP selfie camera tucked in a waterdrop cutout. With a 5000 mAh battery and 44W FlashCharge support, it runs on FunTouch 13, layered atop the Android 13 operating system.
