Vivo Y75s Approved by Multiple Certification Platforms; Official Debut on its Way

In January, Vivo globally announced Y75 5G, a new affordable handset addition to their Y-family. Things went silent for a moment; the Chinese manufacturer then released a 4G spin-off of the same phone in May. And now, they're planning to throw another adjacent Y75 into the mix.

Approval by 3C, TENAA, and Google Play Console links points toward the newcomer's incoming launch. As listed on these certification sites, the phone's model number is "V2069BA", and its moniker is "Y75s". Here's what we know so far.

Vivo Y75s listing on the TENAA database revealed several interesting tidbits about it. For starters, it exposed the design kinks of the phone. A trio of cameras on the back features two circular and one square lens arrangement and a simple LED flash.

Y75s is sporting a chamfered chassis, vertically stacked camera units, and VIVO branding on the bottom left corner. The new Vivo Y55 sibling likely features a water-drop notch, melting into the screen for the front camera.

In addition, the public Chinese listing 3C also confirms that the upcoming addition to the Vivo price list, Vivo Y75s has the model number V2069BA and will support 18W fast charging. Multiple Chinese listings conclude one thing. Y75s debut will kick start in China.

As mentioned In the Google Play Console listing, the newcomer is 5G and supports multiple antenna bands, such as N1, N28, N41, and N78 — it usually entails a 5G-enabled SoC at heart, which in this case, is likely from MediaTek's Dimensity lineup. And its also confirmed to pack a 5000mAh battery pack.

To recall, the Old Y75 5G feature list includes a Dimensity 700 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage capacity. It also had 3-cams, a 5000mAh cell, and charging support for up to 18W input. So for Y75s' budget price tag, you will probably not get significant upgrades over its forerunner, except maybe the design.
