Realme C30s Goes Official with UNISOC Chip, Side Mounted Fingerprint lock, and 5000mAh Battery

Realme C30s, an ultra-budget offering from Realme C-series, is officially out in the wild. The phone looks similar to the Realme C30, launched back in June. It has the same flat form factor, notch, and uni-sensor camera as the original. Aside from the updated chipset and fingerprint scanner, not much has changed.

The Realme C30s runs on Android 12 GO edition — an operating system best optimized for low-end smartphones. It has an underwhelming Unisoc SC9863A chip under the hood, with eight Cortex-A55 cores and a max clock speed of 1.6GHz. Compared to C30, the C30s might be a step down performance-wise.
Realme C30s has a single 8MP primary snapper on the back and a mere 5MP camera up front for selfies. The newcomer has ditched the vertical stripes design for a plainer frosted matte finish coated in Black and Blue.

Flip the Realme C's latest model around to find a 6.5-inch LCD, IPS in nature, with a 720 x 1600p ~270PPI resolution screen. Combined with slightly thick bezels, a trendy flat edged-design, and a minimal water drop notch, it looks aesthetically pleasing.

To make it more secure, the C30s comes with an embedded fingerprint reader, unlike its older variant. The reader + power key combo lies right under the volume rockers facing to the side. The phone uses a dated micro-USB standard port to charge. It retains a 3.5mm audio port and a full-fledged SIM tray with a dedicated sd-card slot.
Realme C30s boots up using a 5000mAh cell. With a price tag of USD 95 or ~PKR 22,500, its base variant offers 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. For an added cost, the capacity can bump up to 4/64GB. No official word yet if the new entry-level would make it to Pakistan, we'll keep you posted if anything develops.
