Nothing Phone (3a) Pro shares most of the hardware with the basic Phone (3a), but the Pro has a better zoom camera and selfie. This device upgrades to a 50MP front shooter, and it can do 4K recording from it. The Phone (3a) Pro has a zoom camera, of course, but it’s a periscope telephoto at 3X optical mag. The other cameras are 50MP main and 8MP ultrawide. There’s an AMOLED screen here. It’s 1080p 120Hz. We have an HDR10+ rating and around 3000nits peak brightness when it’s using said HDR. By the way, Phone (3a) Pro is built on the same Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip that’s used on the basic Phone (3a). It’s strictly a midrange phone, performance-wise. The battery is solid, but not up to snuff by today’s standards. It’s actually a 5000mAh cell that you can recharge at a 50W input on the Phone (3a) Pro. There are also dual speakers here and WiFi 6. That huge camera disc has three LED strips around it for the Nothing Glyphs. Android 15 is the default OS on the Phone (3a) Pro (Nothing OS 3.5). The device does have 3 years of Android updates. It already has the Android 16 update available as you boot the handset. The fingerprint reader is on the screen, optical. No audio jack is present on this newcomer, but it does have eSIM + 2x Nano SIM slots available at a given time. Devices like the Samsung Galaxy A57 might be out of budget for some. Nothing Phone (3a) Pro is a good alternative.
