Honor X8e - Powerful Camera Features and Smooth Visuals!

Honor X8e is a new phone with the same hardware as the X7e Plus 4G. Sadly, that also means the Snapdragon 685 SoC has been carried over to the newcomer, which is definitely not suited for a phone at this price. Anyway, the Honor X8e is a big phone, and its screen is a 6.87†LCD. It’s a TFT panel. The resolution is only 720p HD+, though it does push pixels at 120Hz. That screen will go all the way to 1020 nits HBM brightness. This is not what the phone is known for. Honor X8e is all about battery endurance and durability. They’ve put a 7700mAh battery in it for two full days of usage per charge. And the charger backup is only 45W. They say it has 6 years of life till 80% health. It won’t break easily. They got it tested for an IP69K rating. That’s full water immersion safety. And SGS gave it a five-star impact safety rating as well. The selfie camera is less than ideal here. X8e has a 5MP unit in a punch hole. And the main camera is a 108MP AF unit without OIS. It does have 6GB RAM. 256GB flash storage is built in (no SD card slot). Of course, the fingerprint sensor is on the side, where your thumb would naturally rest. They’ve put this phone in the same segment as the Samsung Galaxy A27, so it’s hard to see the Honor X8e’s appeal other than battery or durability.
