Nothing Phone (4b) is obviously a cheaper version of the original (4a) model. We’ve come across a few of its specifications. The launch timeline was confirmed. The design was also shown by the company in more than one teaser. July 7 is pretty close, and that happens to be the official launch date. This is a full plastic design. A half non-transparent backplate is used here. Half of its design looks like a CMF phone. The transparent upper part of the backplate is definitely a Nothing original. Nothing Phone (4b) is not as high-end as it looks. They are putting a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chip on it. This SoC has 5G support, and the boost clock speeds are actually not too shabby at 2.3GHz. There’s also the integrated Adreno 810 iGPU here. You can do light gaming on it, but it’s a pretty weak engine otherwise. The other specs are preliminary, but it could use the very same 6.77” AMOLED that the original Phone (4a) has been carrying. That means the Nothing Phone (4b) could push pixels at 120Hz. Nothing doesn’t make any kind of compromises on the software front, so we assume it will grab the all-new Nothing OS 4 on Android 16. The battery could be Si/C 5400mAh, but this is speculation. SamsungGalaxy A37 is a good alternative if the Phone (4b) design is not your cup of tea.
