Tecno Camon 50 series is reported to be in the pipeline now. It has at least two devices we’ve been able to pinpoint in the Google Play Console database, and a handful of leaks. The specs are starting to pile up. The Camon 50 Pro you see here is built around a Helio G200 SoC. They are both 2.2 GHz 6nm platforms with Mali-G57 GPU. Tecno will tie that chip with 8GB RAM to get the best out of this SoC. By the way, the performance gap between those chips is so minimal that the generations don’t even matter. Either chipset is good enough for an entry-tier phone. Tecno Camon 50 Pro has a curved design with a AMOLED on the front. The sides fall over the edges, and there’s an extra button on the left to summon the AI Assistant. There’s a very small punch hole on the panel, and we could see a Dynamic Notification system around it. The screen itself is 1080p. Then comes the OS, which GPC states is the Beta Android 16, but it will be a stable HiOS 16 firmware on the retail Camon 50 Pro model. The Camon devices usually debut at MWC every year. This new series could also launch in March at the 2026 Barcelona Mobile World Congress event. Tecno Camon 50 Pro will level the playing field with global competitors like the
Samsung Galaxy A17 4G.
