Vivo Y21d is another phone that banks on the battery and charging speed to win over hearts. This handset is available in Pakistan with a 6500mAh cell and 44W fast charging for backup. Vivo Y21d is a bit thick due to that huge power pack, but it’s up to you to decide if the trade-off is worth it. The newcomer measures 8.39mm on the callipers. The screen is a decent size with 1,000 nits of brightness. It’s 6.68 inches diagonally with a 90Hz refresh rate for a smooth UI. There is one caveat, and that’s the 720p resolution. This shouldn’t bother you if you aren’t a pixel peeper. They cut a few corners in the camera setup. Vivo Y21d keeps a balanced 50MP + 0.08MP optical system on the back, which is fitting for the price. But a 5MP selfie on the front doesn’t seem reasonable. Also, the chipset is a Unisoc T7250, one of the lower entry-level chips of 2025. It could only handle eMMC 5.1 storage with LPDDR4X RAM (6/128GB configuration). The Vivo Y21d is also an IP69-rated phone, which is something Vivo has been getting exceptionally good at. There’s an Android 15 system built in. The fingerprint, of course, is pushed to the side. This handset also has dual speakers. It’s priced around the same figure as the Galaxy A17 in Pakistan, but Samsung has given that device a 1080p AMOLED with Helio G99 chip, so it takes the win in our books.
