Xiaomi Poco X8s - Breaks Cover Globally With a 6,330mAh Battery!

Xiaomi Poco X8s is a compact semi-flagship handset. It’s built around a 6.35†AMOLED at 1.5K resolution, and the refresh rate is actually variable from 1-120Hz. LTPO AMOLEDs are rarely seen in this tier, but the X8s has it and more. The peak brightness is 3500nits. Bezels are mostly uniform, and they are 1.18mm at the thinnest. They’ve put a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip on it. So the performance isn’t exactly top-tier. That’s a 2.8GHz CPU and an Adreno 722 GPU ARM SoC. The best you can get on the Poco X8s is 512GB of flash and 12Gigs of memory. You also get the triple camera gear with it: 50MP Light Fusion 800 sensor (main) + 50MP (telephoto) + 8MP (ultrawide). The front 20MP unit is used for selfies. The battery size parallels the Poco F9 Pro. Poco X8s puts a Si/C 6330mAh cell inside. It supports PD 3.0 (HyperCharge) 100W wired charging. There’s no wireless support, though. The fingerprint is Ultrasonic, so it’s snappy. And there’s WiFi 6E support here. IP68 waterproof rating makes it immune to liquids. Dual speakers fire from the top and bottom, and you get an IR blaster. All this hardware, except the 7 Gen 4 chip, puts the Poco X8s in the same league as the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE, since it’s pretty much up there with most flagships. But it’s way cheaper in terms of value.
