Tecno has a Slim category for its sub-6mm smartphone designs. There were already Pova Slim and Spark Slim variants in the group. The third device in this series will be called the Tecno Camon Slim. The phone cleared EEC certification and got the model number CN6. It also confirmed that the Camon Slim is actually a 5G device. Soon after EEC cleared it, the phone got tested on Geekbench. And the platform recorded a few of its details. We learned that the newcomer can push 997 points on the single-core and hit 2950 points on average on the multithreaded test. This isn’t midrange performance. It’s a notch below, and it goes to show what a 2.4 GHz eight-core SoC can do. Geekbench didn’t reveal the chipset name. But the core architecture of this silicon matches the Dimensity 7100 SoC. That’s the same 5G-ready chip we saw before on the Infinix Note Edge. Maybe that’s the device Tecno is going after with the Camon Slim. Another confirmation we got from all this is the Android version. Of course, a new phone like this would get Android 16. HiOS 16 will be used for the UI. And there’s potentially 8GB RAM on Tecno Camon Slim. Spark Slim and Pova Slim never stood a chance against iPhone Air or Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. The Camon Slim has plenty of performance to stack among the two slimmest flagship devices of 2025.
