The original Nubia Air is about to get a Pro version. There was an official listing for a ZTE device called the Nubia Air Pro, and it’s one of those ultra-thin devices we’ve seen around. The phone’s chassis is apparently 5.99mm thin, and it’s all-metal. The camera bar has two lenses, though it looks almost like an iPhone Air. There’s a 108MP main shooter on the back. The selfie camera in a punch hole is actually a 32MP sensor. Nubia Air Pro is pretty thin, yet they’ve put a 5000mAh battery within. The charging is also quite good at 44W input. S25 Edge and iPhone Air both had a smaller cell than this. The screen has thin bezels. It’s AMOLED at a 6.77” size. The refresh rate is 144Hz. The resolution is presumably FHD+ or 1.5K. 4500nits is the peak brightness at isolated spots on the screen. The chin is almost uniform on the Nubia Air Pro. It passed all the ingress tests for an official IP69K rating. Nubia Air Pro is proof that thin phones don’t need to compromise on durability. There’s a Dimensity 7100 chip on this newcomer and 8GB LPDDR5X RAM. The storage is actually 512GB UFS 2.2. The fingerprint reader is right on the display. This kind of device easily challenges the Samsung Galaxy A57 in more than one category, and takes on the Galaxy S25 Edge in thickness.
