ZTE Nubia Neo 5 Pro was launched today. The aggressive design and shoulder triggers are telltale signs of a gaming phone. They’ve added a midrange chip to this device. The low price is its biggest advantage. A Dimensity 7400 SoC is mounted inside. So it actually stacks with the Infinix GT 30 in performance. MyOS 16 is the default software used here. It’s based on Android 16. Nubia Neo 5 carries a 6210mAh battery. That type of battery lasts a whole day with some juice left in the tank. But gaming on full load will drain the cell faster. The screen on the Nubia Neo 5 Pro is OLED at 144Hz. It’s snappy, and you can unlock higher FPS in a few supported games. Magic Touch 3.0 helps with response times. It’s a 1.5K panel, by the way, at a ~6.8” size. That main lens on the rear is a 50MP shooter. One silo is taken by the Ring RGB light. And the other is a 2MP depth mapper. We also have a selfie shooter here at 16MP resolution. It’s running WiFi 6, and there’s at least 12GB RAM on the Neo 5 Pro. The speaker setup has dual stereo output. The Z-axis linear haptic motor gives you tactile feedback. And the shoulder triggers help with gaming. Global brands like Samsung don’t usually design gaming phones, so the Neo 5 Pro stands on its own.
