Oppo A6k has three memory options, and one of them is the sweet-spot 6GB trim. They wired it to 128GB storage, of course. Its price is roughly Rs 7,000 higher than the base version’s cost. So the upgrade won’t be cheap. 6GB RAM yields more performance and reduces stutter as you move from app to app. If you do consider the Oppo A6k, you should choose at least 6GB RAM if you want to run more than two apps in the background. Anyway, this newcomer has the full-fledged Android 15 version. And everything runs on a Snapdragon 685 chip. Only 4G networks are supported on the Oppo A6k. The display is just an IPS LCD with a 6.75” size and a 120Hz refresh rate. The backlight is quite bright at 1125nits (HBM). A 6100 mAh cell keeps all the hardware running. That’s plenty for full-day usage. The 15W charging support will prove sluggish. An SD card slot is found on the Oppo A6k. The second rear camera is for decoration. The real shooter is a solo 13MP camera sensor. A 5MP camera takes selfies from the front punch hole. IP64 waterproof rating and WiFi 5 dual-band are also part of the package here. Oppo A6k (6/128GB) stacks well against the Samsung Galaxy A07, but this Oppo handset doesn’t offer long-term software support, so consider your options wisely.
