ZTE Blade V80 Design is an entry-level handset, and it looks pretty similar to the Apple iPhone 17 Pro. The phone is recognizable only by the accented power button on the right and a red dot on the camera island. There are three lenses, but only one functioning camera, which is a 50MP (PDAF) outsole. Blade V80 Design can only record videos at 1080p 30 frames per second. The selfie camera is 16MP. They’ve got Android 16 running on it by default. The chip is the all-new Unisoc T7280 platform, which clocks at 2.2 GHz with eight cores. That’s almost the same clock speed as the Helio G99. 8GB RAM and 256GB storage are found on the Blade V80 Design. The display is serviceable. Its resolution is less than 1080p, but higher than standard 720p. A 6.75” IPS LCD lies on the front with 900p (HD+) resolution. Its refresh rate is 120Hz, and the brightness hits 1000 nits. There’s no protective layer on this screen, though. It’s a budget phone, yet it secured an IP64 rating. That makes the Blade V80 Design partially waterproof. A 5,000 mAh battery lies inside this handset. And Backup is provided by a 22.5W wired charger. There’s also a side fingerprint here, only a single speaker, and dual-band WiFi. It would’ve been a perfect contender for the Samsung Galaxy A17 had it used an AMOLED panel. But the Blade V80 Design is still an option worth considering in 2026 if you are on a tight budget.
